High Level: What to Expect on Your Tour

You’ll start out by embarking on a picturesque bus adventure from Zurich tracing the path of the Brünig Pass on your way to a stop in Interlaken. Following a quick break in Interlaken, you’ll take another bus ride to Grindelwald. When you arrive, you’ll have a few minutes to use the restrooms and grab some refreshments. Then, you will board the cable car at the Grindelwald Terminal for a breathtaking 15-minute ride to the Eiger Glacier.

You will then hop off the cable car and onto the Jungfrau Railway. This cogwheel train will take you to the peak of Jungfraujoch. When you arrive at the top, you will have 2 hours to explore the ice palace, go to the Sphinx Observation deck to see 360° views from the top, eat at one of the restaurants, and even go out onto the glacier.

When your time at the Top of the World is up, you will get back on the Jungfrau Railway then the cable car to start your descent back down the mountain. When you get back to the Grindelwald Terminal, I’d suggest grabbing some snacks and drinks at this point before getting back on the bus. This will be your last stop for any kind of refreshments until you get back to Zurich.
Dress Smart, Feel Cozy: Navigating the Alpine Chill

When preparing for your journey to Jungfraujoch, remember the golden rule: layers, layers, layers! The weather at this alpine wonderland can be as unpredictable as it is awe-inspiring. As you ascend to the “Top of Europe,” temperatures can drop unexpectedly, and the winds can add a chilly bite to the air. That’s why dressing in layers is your secret weapon against the cold and windy conditions. Don’t forget a good pair of gloves, a cozy hat or earmuffs, and a scarf to complete your ensemble. The beauty of dressing in layers is that you can easily adjust to the ever-changing climate, ensuring your comfort as you soak in the breathtaking vistas from the heights of Jungfraujoch and when you take a break at one of the restaurants.
